SKS Vision Systems Oy´s ownership changes


SKS Group Oy has on August 24rd 2011 signed an agreement in order to sell all shares in its daughter company SKS Vision Systems Oy to SKS Vision Systems' current managing director Kari Rahkola. After the transaction, the company is a wholly owned by Mr Rahkola. The business will operate under the name Vision Systems Oy.

- Vision Systems Oy continues product development and is looking for growth opportunities by expanding supply and strengthening the export effort, says Kari Rahkola.

Vision Systems Oy is an optical measurement and machine vision technology consulting company. The company has been operating for over 25 years and is one of the leading practitioners in Finland. The clientele consists of pulp, paper, metal, steel, glass and tire industry, large enterprises as well as various equipment and machinery manufacturers.

The company has developed a number of products for sensor and system level. Some of the products have been patented. The service also includes customer specific solutions.

Vision Systems office and production facilities are located in Jyväskylä, and the sales office is located in Vantaa.

SKS Vision Systems Oy's turnover was 1.8 million euros in 2010 and the company is having 11 employees.
